ADVERTISING & PARTNERSHIPS

A clear framework for a commercial message.

Discuss a defined placement or sponsored contribution for readers interested in public affairs, business and international decision-making.

Sponsored editorial formats

A sponsored article can explain an organisation, initiative or area of expertise. It must identify the payer and be presented as commercial material. Claims need supporting evidence. Approval of a sponsored piece does not give the sponsor control over other coverage.

Display and section sponsorship

Enquiries may concern visual placements or a clearly identified section sponsorship. Position, dimensions, destination links, campaign dates and duration are agreed as part of the written proposal. Supplied material must be accurate and cleared for the intended use.

What to include in a brief

Provide your organisation’s name, campaign objective, preferred format, dates, language, destination links and indicative budget. Identify any political, financial or other regulated subject so that the proposal can be assessed in its proper context.

Scope, pricing and delivery

A written quotation sets out deliverables, approval stages, timing and payment terms before a booking is made. Audience figures or campaign results should only be supplied when supported by measurement. A placement does not guarantee traffic, search position or a commercial outcome.

Identification and editorial boundaries

Paid links are marked as sponsored. Commercial material must not imitate an independent report without disclosure. Proposals can be declined where the payer is concealed, rights are unclear or material claims cannot be supported. Contributed opinion follows a separate editorial process.
